GLAM TO MAKE READY™, the property services division of GLAM Properties™, provides integrated Commercial Cleaning, Facility Services, Property Turnovers & Make Ready, and Maintenance & Repair solutions throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.
We are seeking a motivated, organized, quality-driven Sanitation Strategist to help lead our GLAM CLEAN & SANITATION TEAM™ and oversee the successful execution of cleaning services.
This is more than a cleaning position. The Sanitation Strategist is a field leader who helps ensure crews are prepared, productive, safe, properly documented, and consistently delivering work that meets Company and client standards
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead and coordinate assigned cleaning crews across commercial, residential, multifamily, turnover, make-ready, office, retail, and facility-service properties.
Review Scope of Work, assign and sequence work, monitor productivity, and ensure service expectations are understood.
Coach, train, support, and help onboard cleaning professionals while reinforcing Company standards and accountability.
Conduct field inspections and Quality Assurance reviews to verify the actual condition of the property, not simply checklist completion.
Identify deficiencies, document findings, coordinate corrective cleaning, and support reinspections before closeout.
Review schedules, confirm crew readiness, identify coverage issues, coordinate property access, and communicate field delays or changes.
Monitor cleaning supplies, equipment, inventory, product usage, and field-resource needs.
Professionally communicate with clients, document service concerns, and support appropriate service recovery.
Reinforce PPE, chemical handling, property protection, equipment safety, and other required safety procedures.
Maintain accurate Work Orders, service notes, checklists, photos, QA records, time records, corrective actions, and closeout documentation.
NO REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION = NO CLOSEOUT.
Our standard is simple: a checklist does not make the property clean—the actual condition of the property does.

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY
Contractors may identify availability as:
DAY | EVENING | SATURDAY | SUNDAY | EMERGENCY / ON-CALL | OPEN/FLEXIBLE
Not every contractor is required to accept every schedule.
Once an assignment is accepted, however, contractors are expected to complete it according to the agreed schedule or follow required cancellation and reassignment procedures.
Qualified contractors may also participate in approved emergency-response opportunities.
TECHNOLOGY
You may use ServiceM8™, ClickUp™, GLOSS DIGITAL™, digital inspection forms, mobile field applications, Google Workspace™, Microsoft 365™, email/messaging systems, and approved AI tools.
You do not need experience with every platform before joining us, but you must be comfortable learning and consistently using technology.
AI-generated work must be reviewed and verified before operational use.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Experience in commercial cleaning, facility services, housekeeping operations, property services, or a related environment; previous team-lead, supervisory, or field-lead experience; strong cleaning knowledge; attention to detail; Quality Assurance capability; organization; communication; client service; problem-solving; and comfort using mobile technology.
Preferred: 3–5 years of commercial cleaning or facility-services experience, especially involving multifamily properties, commercial facilities, property turnovers, make-ready, crew supervision, Quality Assurance, inventory, training, client accounts, or labor/productivity management.
A degree in Business Management, Facilities Management, Operations, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not required when equivalent professional experience demonstrates the necessary capability.
Reliable transportation appropriate to assigned job responsibilities may be required.
SCHEDULE, FIELD WORK & TRAVEL
This is a flexible field-leadership position, not a traditional Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM role.
Assignments may include DAY | EVENING | SATURDAY | LIMITED SUNDAY work based on client contracts, property turnovers, QA inspections, corrective cleaning, and operational needs.
Evening availability is required when assigned. Saturday availability is required based on operational schedules. Limited Sunday availability may be required for scheduled or critical service needs. This position is not continuously on call 24/7.
Regular travel throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan Area is required. This is an active field position that may involve extended walking and standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, stairs, cleaning equipment, supplies, and working in occupied or vacant properties.
